The Poetry of Sue Robinson
Resting Wings Sanctuary

She Dawns

Into the well of unknowing…

    darkness conspires to nourish…

                     the gift of union…

by Love’s longing

Wrapped in her womb…

                        tangled…

                                     tickled…

                                              touched…

by Love’s dawning

Sharing fragrant communion…

                           drinking the wind…

                                                munching on fire…

she dawns

Longing…

Longing to respond with completeness -

leaving behind my shattered self

Holding back nothing from Your touch of heaven –

where none defines empty priceless Love

Soul Birth

When an incubating egg

has reached it’s waiting birth,

it pecks away the

surface shell

to journey on the Earth.

Like a ripened embryo

the soul’s pregnant find,

births wide open

prayers of Joy,

freeing Love Divine.

The Secret Bowl

some secrets are known

some secrets are told

some secrets are kept

this Secret calls your soul to Itself

be with Me - be with Me – be with Me

this Secret is unknown

even to the one who knows it

this Secret is a bottomless Bowl

no bottom – no sides – no boundaries

full of bliss and pain – dark and light

this Secret is a Bowl of empty-too-muchness

            an open container of beyond

this Secret is Love and it transforms your soul to dust

as offering for the Breath of the Beloved

this Secret Breath is a Mystery

            known – yet unknown

oh……

to be dust in the Secret Bowl of the Beloved’s Breath
