I studied the Outsider Art movement in 2002. I wanted to combine history, folk art, and I impressionism all in one shot. It a difficult task, but challenge I love. My themes vary from history, women issues, spirituality and world causes. I am at a place where I try to sell my art in places where it will help many causes in the world: AIDS, hunger slavery, and devastated parts of the world. I paint from the soul, heart, and spirit. I pray for guidance to God over all my artworks. I want my art to be blessing to others. My desire is to use what I have for making the world a better place.
Please visit Janie at her website, Sunday Morninz Studio. You will find her art and her spirit. Janie says, “The mission of Sunday Morninz is to reflect back the history of a people and the hopes of the future with faith, spirit, and heart. I try to sell art to provoke and awake the human spirit to feel... Feel something for the world around. To look back and then gaze forward in faith.”
